Overview

WooCommerce + TackQuote

TackQuote's WooCommerce integration brings your WordPress product catalog into your quoting workflow. Build quotes from live WooCommerce products, send them to buyers through TackQuote's branded portal, and convert accepted quotes to WooCommerce orders automatically. Supports both standard WooCommerce and WooCommerce B2B extensions.

TackQuote connects to WooCommerce via its REST API using API key authentication. No plugin installation required.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

Before you start

What you'll need

  • WooCommerce 7.0 or later
  • WordPress 6.0 or later
  • WooCommerce REST API enabled (default in modern WooCommerce)
  • TackQuote Starter plan or above

Setup

How to connect WooCommerce

  1. Generate a WooCommerce API key

In your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API. Create a new key with Read/Write permissions and copy the Consumer Key and Secret.
  2. Connect in TackQuote

Go to TackQuote Integrations → WooCommerce. Enter your site URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret. TackQuote will verify the connection and import your product catalog.
  3. Configure order settings

Choose the default WooCommerce order status for accepted quotes (on-hold, processing, etc.) and map TackQuote payment terms to WooCommerce payment methods.
  4. Start quoting

Build quotes from your WooCommerce product catalog. Accepted quotes create orders instantly. Your WooCommerce admin shows the order as if it were placed in the storefront.

Capabilities

What you get

Product Catalog Sync

Pull products, SKUs, pricing, and inventory directly from WooCommerce into TackQuote quotes. Changes in WooCommerce reflect in real time.

Order Creation on Acceptance

When a buyer accepts a TackQuote quote, a WooCommerce order is created automatically with all line items, customer details, and shipping info pre-filled.

REST API Webhooks

TackQuote listens to WooCommerce order webhooks to track fulfillment status changes and keep your quote timeline updated.

Tax Class Mapping

Map TackQuote tax rules to WooCommerce tax classes. Tax-exempt buyers identified through ExemptAx integration pass zero-tax rates through to WooCommerce orders.
