Slack + TackQuote

TackQuote's Slack integration delivers real-time notifications for every significant quote event to the channels where your team already works. Never miss a buyer viewing a quote, approving a deal, or requesting a revision. Configure per-event channel routing so the right people get notified at the right time.

TackQuote connects to Slack via incoming webhook or Slack app OAuth. Both methods are supported.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

How to connect Slack

Add TackQuote to Slack
In TackQuote Integrations → Slack, click "Add to Slack". Authorize the TackQuote Slack app in your workspace and choose the default notification channel.
Configure event routing
For each quote event type, choose the Slack channel to send notifications to. Disable events you don't need to reduce noise.
Map TackQuote reps to Slack users
TackQuote matches TackQuote user emails to Slack workspace members for @mention support. Review and adjust mappings as needed.
Test and confirm
Send a test notification from TackQuote settings. Once it appears in your chosen channel, you're live.

Notifications include quote ID, buyer name, amount, and a direct link to the TackQuote quote. Your team can act immediately from Slack.

Quote events automatically @mention the owning rep in Slack so they know immediately when their deal moves.

Can I use a Slack incoming webhook instead of the app?

Yes. If you prefer to use a Slack incoming webhook URL for simplicity, TackQuote supports both webhook and OAuth app methods.

Can we send notifications to private Slack channels?

Yes. TackQuote can send to private channels once the TackQuote app is added to the channel manually.
