Overview

NetSuite + TackQuote

TackQuote connects to Oracle NetSuite through its REST/SuiteTalk APIs so your quotes are built from live item records and accepted quotes flow back as NetSuite sales orders. TackQuote treats NetSuite items as quotable products and the NetSuite sales order as the resulting order. Sync is pull-based: item, price, and inventory data refresh on a two-hour scheduled cadence plus an on-demand pull, while sales orders and customer records are pushed the moment a quote is accepted.

TackQuote connects to NetSuite via token-based authentication (TBA) against the REST/SuiteTalk API. Items and inventory refresh every two hours; sales orders are pushed on acceptance.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

Before you start

What you'll need

  • Oracle NetSuite with SuiteTalk / REST web services enabled
  • Token-based authentication (TBA) configured with integration and access tokens
  • NetSuite role with item, customer, and sales order permissions
  • TackQuote Pro plan or above (NetSuite is an enterprise integration)

Setup

How to connect NetSuite

  1. Create integration & access tokens in NetSuite

In NetSuite, enable token-based authentication, create an integration record, and issue an access token and secret with the REST record permissions TackQuote needs.
  2. Connect in TackQuote

Enter your account ID, consumer key/secret, and token key/secret in TackQuote Integrations → NetSuite. TackQuote verifies access and begins the initial item sync.
  3. Map items and order defaults

Confirm item, price level, and subsidiary mapping, and set the sales order defaults (form, terms, location) used when quotes are accepted.
  4. Go live

Build quotes from live NetSuite items. Accepted quotes create NetSuite sales orders and matched customer records automatically.

Capabilities

What you get

Item & Price Sync

TackQuote pulls NetSuite items, pricing, and units of measure into the quote builder on a scheduled cadence so quotes reflect current data.

Sales Order Creation

Accepted quotes create NetSuite sales orders with the correct items, quantities, customer, and terms mapped across.

Customer Sync

TackQuote buyer profiles match to NetSuite customers, creating new customer records when no match is found.

Inventory Awareness

Live inventory levels pull into TackQuote so reps can quote against available stock across locations.
