Overview

Microsoft Teams + TackQuote

TackQuote delivers real-time quote event notifications to your Microsoft Teams channels via webhooks. Your team gets instant visibility into quote activity — sent, viewed, approved, rejected — without leaving Teams.

TackQuote connects to Teams using incoming webhook connectors. No app installation required.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

Before you start

What you'll need

  • Microsoft Teams (any plan)
  • Channel connector permission (standard Teams user)
  • TackQuote Basic plan or above

Setup

How to connect Microsoft Teams

  1. Create a Teams incoming webhook

In Microsoft Teams, right-click the channel you want notifications in → Connectors → Incoming Webhook. Create and copy the webhook URL.
  2. Add to TackQuote

Paste the webhook URL in TackQuote Integrations → Microsoft Teams. Configure which quote events trigger notifications.
  3. Test and go live

Send a test notification from TackQuote. Once it appears in Teams with the correct formatting, you're ready.

Capabilities

What you get

Teams Webhook Notifications

TackQuote sends rich adaptive card notifications to Teams channels for every configured quote event.

Per-Channel Routing

Different quote events can go to different Teams channels — route approvals to sales, accounting events to finance.

Adaptive Card Format

Notifications use Teams adaptive card format with quote details, buyer name, amount, and a direct action link.

Rep Mentions

Quote events can @mention the owning rep in the notification so the right person acts on it immediately.

FAQ

Microsoft Teams questions

Does TackQuote support Teams app installation?

Currently, TackQuote uses incoming webhooks for Teams. A native Teams app with deeper integration is on our roadmap.

What permissions do I need to set this up?

Just standard Teams user permissions to create a channel connector — no tenant admin approval is required for incoming webhooks.

Can different quote events go to different Teams channels?

Yes. Create a separate incoming webhook per channel and map quote event types to each one in TackQuote Integrations → Microsoft Teams.
