Overview

BigCommerce + TackQuote

TackQuote's BigCommerce integration is purpose-built for B2B merchants who need quoting at scale. It creates a seamless bridge between your TackQuote quoting workflow and your BigCommerce store — syncing your product catalog in real time, generating draft orders the moment a buyer accepts a quote, and supporting native BigCommerce B2B checkout for enterprise accounts. No more copying order details by hand or duplicating customer records.

The integration uses BigCommerce's API and webhooks to maintain a live, two-way connection with your TackQuote workspace. Setup takes under five minutes.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

Before you start

What you'll need

  • BigCommerce store on Essentials, Plus, Pro, or Enterprise plan
  • BigCommerce B2B Edition required for company account and price list features
  • TackQuote Starter plan or above (BigCommerce is a premium integration)
  • Store owner or admin-level BigCommerce account for OAuth

Setup

How to connect BigCommerce

  1. Connect via OAuth

In TackQuote Integrations, click "Connect BigCommerce". You'll be redirected to BigCommerce's OAuth consent screen. Approve the required scopes (products, orders, customers) and you're returned to TackQuote with the connection live.
  2. Map your price lists

Choose which BigCommerce price list (or customer group) maps to each TackQuote quote tier. You can set a default and override per-buyer. Custom B2B Edition price lists are fully supported.
  3. Configure order triggers

Decide at which TackQuote quote status an order is created in BigCommerce: on acceptance, on e-signature, or on manual trigger. You can also set default order statuses and payment term mappings.
  4. Go live

Send your first quote. TackQuote pulls live product data from your catalog, sends the quote to your buyer, and — when they accept — fires the draft order to BigCommerce. The entire flow is logged in TackQuote's event timeline.

Capabilities

What you get

Two-Way Product Sync

Products and pricing stay in sync between TackQuote and BigCommerce. Add a product in either platform and it reflects everywhere. Inventory levels update in real time.

Draft Order Creation

When a buyer accepts a quote in TackQuote, a corresponding draft order is created in BigCommerce instantly — with line items, pricing, and buyer details pre-filled.

Native B2B Checkout

Works natively with BigCommerce's B2B Edition. Company accounts, buyer roles, price lists, and payment terms all carry through without additional configuration.

Webhook-Triggered Fulfillment

Fulfillment events in BigCommerce (shipped, delivered) fire back to TackQuote automatically, keeping your quote timeline and CRM data accurate.

FAQ

BigCommerce questions

Does TackQuote create real orders or draft orders in BigCommerce?

By default, TackQuote creates draft orders in BigCommerce when a quote is accepted. You can configure the integration to create live orders directly if your workflow requires it.

What happens if a buyer rejects or lets a quote expire?

Nothing is created in BigCommerce. Orders are only generated on acceptance. If a draft order was already created and the quote is later cancelled, TackQuote can optionally cancel the draft order via webhook.

Can I use custom fields from BigCommerce in TackQuote quotes?

Yes. TackQuote maps BigCommerce custom product fields and metafields into quote line items. You can surface them on the buyer-facing quote portal as specifications or add-ons.

Does the integration support multi-storefront BigCommerce setups?

Multi-storefront support (BigCommerce MSF) is on our roadmap. Currently, each TackQuote workspace connects to a single BigCommerce store.
